Hello, I have a questions about rides, My 4 year old son is 40" and my 6 year old is 44" tall. For rides like Splash Mountain, Can my husband take both of the boys on the ride by himself? So I can stay back with my 2 year old?

    Hi Jessica!

I bet you are so excited with your spring trip just around the corner!  You are going to have a Splashtastic time!

Absolutely your husband may ride height restricted attractions with your two older children while you wait with your 2 year old.  I have found there are usually very interesting play areas or places to explore for little ones near height restricted rides.  For instance, if you take your 2 year old to the exit area of Splash Mountain you will find an adorable play set for him to romp around.  This play set looks like it has been transplanted straight from the movie of Brer Rabbit itself.

I have more good news for you!  Disney has a Pixie Dusted service called Rider Switch.  Click onto the previous link to read about how it works and which attractions offer it.  Essentially you can request a Rider Switch Pass at the entrance of an attraction which will allow you to return through the FastPass queue after your family has ridden the ride.  But Disney doesn't want you to ride alone!  You get to take another person along with you.  If you ever see a family playing paper-rock-scissors just outside of an attraction it is probably my family competing to see who gets to go on the ride again with Mom.

I hope this information helps you with planning and you love the Rider Switch service as much as my family does.  Please write back if you have any more questions.  We love to help!

    Blessings,
