Hi I have 2 questions about the qs dining plan 1-with kids meals do you get a separate dessert or is it one of the two sides with the meal 2-with adult meals it looks like you can substitute your dessert or drink for a snack item am I reading that right?

    Hello, Sheena!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Panel! We are delighted to answer your questions concerning your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation!

I am very happy to inform you that with the Quick-Service Disney Dining Plan for kids, the dessert is in addition to the two sides for each meal.  So, for example, your child would receive an entree, two side items (carrots and grapes), and a dessert (cookie).

You are correct in saying that the Quick-Service Disney Dining Plan will allow you to substitute your dessert or non-alcoholic drink for items like a side salad or fruit cup.  In the Disney Dining brochure, it now states that a drink and dessert may be substituted for any item that is an eligible snack at any location.  My recommendation would be to check with your server to see what substitutions are available for each restaurant.

If you have other questions, please let us know!  We are here to help in any way!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
