A questions about the dining plan..for sit down is says you get 1entree, 1 desert, 1 drink and 1 appetizer(ages 3-9 only). What does that mean? Do guests ages 3-9 only get an appetizer and not an entree? Do adults get an entree and an appetizer?

As a starting place, please take a look at the post about appetizers on the Dining Plan found HERE.

Guests ages 3-9 on the basic Disney Dining Plan receive an entree (from the children's menu), a beverage, a dessert, PLUS an appetizer (from the children's menu). The children's appetizers are usually something small such as carrots and dip, or a small bowl of soup. The appetizers for the kids are there to keep them busy and take the edge off their hunger while everyone is waiting for their entrees. Adults on the basic dining plan do not get an appetizer included with their meal.

I hope this helps with any confusion.

Enjoy your stay at Walt Disney World.
