    Kaci Asked

Hi! Another question about Wishes.....which is a better location for viewing....Ohana (assuming I am able to book an ADR at the correct time) or the beach at Poly? Thanks in advance for your answer.

    Hi Kaci!

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!
Disney's Polynesian Resort, 'Ohana and Wishes are about my three absolute favourite things in all of Walt Disney World! Since this topic is near and dear to me, I'm more than happy to share my views with you.

Which location is 'better' really depends on how you enjoy watching Wishes.
Viewing from inside 'Ohana is lovely, if you're lucky enough to receive a table near the windows with an unobstructed view. This can be tricky, and so I'd recommend that you reserve your ADR to be at least an hour prior to the scheduled showing of Wishes for that evening, and arrive early, prepared to wait for just the right table. The soundtrack from Wishes which you hear in Magic Kingdom Park is broadcast over the speaker system inside 'Ohana, so you'll be watching the show timed to the music just as it is in the park.

Personally, I prefer to watch from the beach. Although you won't have the soundtrack accompanying the show, there's just something 'extra magical' about watching the beautiful bursts of colour over the water, under a moonlit sky as Cinderella Castle glows in the distance. It's the epitome of pure, Disney Magic for me! To successfully watch from the beach, you'll want to reserve dinner a little earlier allowing yourself time to finish and head out to the beach to secure your perfect viewing location.

Feel free to write me back if you have additional questions Kaci. I'd love to hear from you again! Wishing you a simply Magical evening at 'Ohana and a fabulous time at Walt Disney World!
