This question has probably been asked before. I am really wanting to take my family to Disneyland this summer I know for sure that I will not have money up front to to pay for everything and save money for when we get to Disneyland. How can I plan budget

    Hi Terra!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! A summer vacation to the Disneyland Resort sounds like the perfect thing to look forward to during this chilly winter. Since you have a few months to go, this also gives you plenty of time to plan your Disneyland Resort vacation.

One of the best ways to budget for a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth is to book a Disneyland Resort Vacation Package. These packages combine not only your hotel stay and Park Tickets, but also any magical extras like Character Dining, airfare, ground transportation, and other Southern California attractions. You can even choose to stay at a Disneyland Resort Hotel or a Good Neighbor Hotel.

When you reserve a Disneyland Resort Vacation Package, all that is required at time of booking is a $200 deposit. Your remaining balance is not due until 30 days prior to your arrival. In between that time you can make payments of any amount at any time. I just love this flexibility! It also sounds like this may be the best option for you as well as many Guests, who are concerned about planning on a budget.

One of my other budgeting tips when arriving to the Disneyland Resort is to make use of the picnic area located outside the Main Entrance of Disneyland Park. Here you can enjoy your own outside food in a shady area while watching the famous Disneyland Monorail pass overhead.

Feel free to return if you have any other questions as you plan your trip!
