My question pertains to the Welcome Ceremony at the Magic Kingdom. On the days that the MK opens early for extra magic hours, will the Opening Ceremony be one hour earlier as well? I will be visiting the first week in December.

    Hi Barbara!

The Magic Kingdom Welcome Show is one of my family's favorites!  I love being able to start our day by seeing our favorite Characters and singing along with the "Good Morning" song.

The show usually begins about 15-20 minutes before the Magic Kingdom opening time, even on days when there are morning Extra Magic Hours for Guests of Walt Disney World Resort hotels.  If you're staying off-site and want to see the Welcome Show, you can still arrive early, but would then have to wait until regular opening time to enter the park.  I'd recommend getting to the gates at least 30-45 minutes to be sure you find a good spot for viewing.

Wishing you a magical vacation next month, Barbara!
