    Kasey from SD Asked

Hello, my question is I have not booked our trip yet but know what days we would like to go. I'm just wondering if it is possible to make ADR's before booking our trip?

Welcome Back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Kasey ~

Making Advanced Dining Reservations (ADRs) is always a top priority for me when planning trips to Disney World. All Guests (even those staying off property) can begin making ADRs 180 days prior to the date of their visit. Guests who are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel and have already booked their rooms, can begin making their dining reservations 180 days prior to the first date of their visit plus the next 10 days of their vacation.

That can be a little confusing but I'll try to clarify for you. Today is April 14, 2014 so all Guests staying on or off property could make an ADR for 180 days from now which would be October 11, 2014. If you do not have a Disney World Resort reservation, you can only make reservations as far out as October 11th. If you want reservations for October 12th, you'll have to call or make reservations online for that day tomorrow (and so on).

If you are planning to stay at a Disney World Resort and have already booked your hotel reservation, you could make an ADR for October 11, 2014 plus the 10 days following for your trip (180 days + 10 days). That saves Disney World Hotel Guests from having to get up each morning 180 days from their trip and trying to make the reservations that they really want during their visit.

ADRs can be made online through the link shown above or by calling 407-WDW-DINE. Whether or not you have book your Disney World Hotel reservations, I would recommend you start making your ADRs as soon as you reach your 180 day window.

Please feel free to visit us with all of your planning questions. We are hEAR to help you!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
