Another question...the night shows at the parks, do we need to plan ahead and research the best places to be to get a good view? Or is it pretty obvious once we're there? Bringing 2 very excited boys- 4 and 5 yo.

    Hi Sarah!

    This is a great question!

The easiest one to talk about is Fantasmic!  It takes place in a custom built stadium for the show.  You really want to be about half way from the bottom of the stadium to the top and located in the center from left to right.  It is more important to be located in the center from left to right than from top to bottom.  During part of the show floats go by on the water and by sitting in the center the music will also be synched with the correct float.

For Illuminations, you want to be in World Showcase in Epcot.  In the evening, you will see a large ball in the water.  You really want to find a location that allows you to see that ball clearly without any trees or structures in the way.  The closer you are to the ball, the easier it will be to see the images that are projected on that ball during the show.

For Wishes, the best spots are between the end of Main Street USA, near Casey's Corner, and just before the Castle Hub.  If you are in front of the Partner's Statue in the Castle Hub then you are definitely too close!  You can see Wishes from many places within the Magic Kingdom, but the show has some symmetrical elements that are best seen from being in the middle of Main Street USA.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
