Question about Memory Maker as there is conflicting info all over. When You do an attraction (say Splash Mountain) do you need to go to counter and give picture number and have them scan your band or as have some say you don't need to do anything.

    Hi Beverly,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with another great question!  I'm sorry to hear you're seeing conflicting information, but hopefully I can help clear things up a bit.  Guests who have purchased Memory Maker and who are using MagicBands no longer need to stop by the photo sales counter when they exit a participating attraction to have their photos added.  Those pictures are now automatically associated with your My Disney Experience account.  I visited Walt Disney World last month and can tell you that the system was a "snap" to use.  Every one of our ride photos made it onto my account without any extra steps on our part.  I was a big fan of Memory Maker before, but I just love this improvement!  If you're not using MagicBands, or if you just want to be sure those ride photos make it onto your account, you can just jot down the photo number and stop by the photo sales counter as you exit the attraction and a Cast Member will be happy to assist you.  Here's a link to some more information that might be helpful from the Disney PhotoPass Service Facebook page, as well.

Wishing you a magical vacation, Beverly, and please let us know if you have any other questions!
