Hi! I've got another question for you. Iam planning on taking the Keys to the Kingdom tour and need to know if it's customary to tip the tour guide at the end. Thanks for all the help!!!!

    Hi Elizabeth,

You are going to LOVE the Keys to the Kingdom Tour!  During the tour you'll hear stores about Walt Disney and how the Disney theme parks came to life. There are so many things that most guests never pay attention to as they walk past - its all part of the "show".

I am usually a big believer in tipping (Wait Staff, Magical Express Drivers, Mousekeeping, Bell Services, etc.).  I have taken several of the tours offered at Disney and I've never seen a guest tip a Tour Guide.  I called the Disney Tour Department and they said that a Tour Guide is not a tipped position but that you could ask your Tour Guide at the conclusion of the tour if they are allowed to accept tips - they may tell you that they are not.

On several occasions, I have given my Tour Guide (and bus driver if the tour covered multiple locations) a small gift to show my appreciation and they seemed very pleased.

Enjoy the tour! You'll walk away with a greater appreciation for the Magic Kingdom and never look at it the same again. Let me know if you need more details. Wishing you many magical memories :-) Allison
