Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Chelsea!
You must be so excited to visit Walt Disney World Resort with your grandmother! It really has something for everyone of all ages and I just love visiting with my parents! I’ll always remember that my mom was never really into visiting, but after her first visit, she was immediately hooked and can’t wait to return!
I hope that I am understanding your question properly, and I apologize if I am missing the mark. In order to make
FastPass+ Reservations in advance, your grandmother must have a valid Disney Theme Park ticket on her My Disney Experience account. If you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you can make these 60 days in advance, otherwise, you can make them 30 days in advance as long as you have a valid Disney Theme Park ticket.
If your grandmother purchases a 1-day Disney Theme Park Ticket at a Disney Theme Park entrance, she can use the plastic card (what you referred to as a paper ticket, I believe) for her FastPass+ redemptions, or she can link her Theme Park ticket onto her MagicBand. If you have her on your
My Family & Friends List, you could help her with this, otherwise, a visit to Guest Relations is probably the easiest route. Keep in mind that she will have to visit Guest Relations or a
FastPass+ Kiosk to make her same day FastPass+ Reservations (which might already have limited availability) unless she has My Disney Experience or you have her on your
My Family & Friends List and can do it for her.
The easiest thing to do is purchase the Disney Theme Park ticket ahead of time and then your entire party can make FastPass+ Reservations together.
I hope that your family has the BEST.DAY.EVER!
