    I have a question about getting to my dining reservations. How do I get to the Aloha Dinner Show and the reservations for ones at the other resorts vs. reservations at the theme parks, where I believe the bus will go direct? We are staying at AOA.

    Karen,

    I find that the easiest way to get from your resort to the Aloha Dinner Show is to take the resort bus to the Magic Kingdom, then hop on the Monorail and ride around to the Polynesian.

    As to other reservations at restaurants at other resorts, it depends. The official answer is that you always should take your resort's bus to Downtown Disney, then transfer to a bus to that destination resort. But like in the example above, there are often faster, and more scenic ways to go.

    If you write me back with your dining reservations, I can tell you some good shortcuts. For now, here are a few good rules to remember;
    • Like with the example above, getting to a restaurant at a monorail resort is often best achieved by going by bus to the Magic Kingdom, then riding the monorail
    • For Wilderness Lodge and Fort Wilderness, also take a bus to the Magic Kingdom, but then boat over to those destinations
    • For Epcot area resorts (Yacht Club, Beach Club, BoardWalk), consider taking a bus to Hollywood Studios, then boating over to the restaurant.
    • Always ask your resort concierge about morning travel to any breakfast restaurant that may require travel before regular bus service starts.

    Write me back with examples (and remember to mention what meals they are, as return trips can get complex late at night), and I can help further!

    Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
