    Cindy from TX Asked

My question is about the fireworks displays - both the Fantasmic and World of Color. Can these be seen from other areas of the park or do you really need to be in the designated areas to see them?

    Hey Cindy!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I'm really excited that you are already thinking about seeing two wonderful nighttime spectaculars at the Disneyland Resort: World of Color and Fantasmic!

World of Color at Disney California Adventure Park is a truly one-of-a-kind display of amazing projections, music, color, water, and pyrotechnics. You will see displays of your favorite Disney films on almost 1,200 fountains that shoot water 200 feet into the air. I couldn't believe my eyes the first time I watched this performance.

Along the Rivers of America in Disneyland Park, Fantasmic! is a show featuring familiar Disney Characters in a battle of good versus evil inside Mickey's imagination. You will see heroes, villains, princesses, and pirates in this unforgettable performance also showcasing special effects and pyrotechnics.

Both of these nighttime spectaculars are really best viewed from the reserved viewing areas for each show. One way to ensure a great spot is to grab a FASTPASS for either performance early in the day. The FASTPASS distribution for World of Color is located next to The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel's Undersea Adventure. In Disneyland Park you can grab a FASTPASS for Fantasmic! in Frontierland. This will give you a designated area to stand in that evening to get a great view of the performance. Another fantastic way to ensure a good view is to reserve a World of Color or Fantasmic! Dining Package. This pairs an outstanding 3-course meal with a ticket for a reserved viewing location making sure you get the absolute best experience.

Feel free to return with any other questions, and have a magical day!
