Hello- I have a question about FastPass+. Once you get to the FastPass attraction, is there a wait? If so, what is the approximate wait time with a FastPass? Thanks for your help!

    Hey Elizabeth!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Mom Panel! Thank you so much for bringing us your question.

I had the opportunity to use Disney's FastPass+ service on my most recent trip to Walt Disney World. We found when we used our FastPass+ selection most attractions there was little to no wait. With one exception, which I will discuss later, we never waited longer than five minutes. In most cases, such as Under The Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid, the walk into the attraction actually took longer then the wait.

The one exception to this was Test Track in Epcot. By virtue of the nature of this attractions, there are really three 'wait zones'. There is the initial stand-by line, the wait to design your test vehicle and finally, there is the wait to load into your test vehicle. Your FastPass+ selection will allow you to bypass the initial stand-by line, which can be incredibly long. You then continue through the set-up process with the stand-by riders. It took us approximately 10 minutes to get through the queues and into our test vehicle. However, it is well worth it when you are winding around the track at approximately 65mph.

I hope this helps with your planning. If you have any other questions please come back and see me.

Wishing you a magical vacation and a pixie-dusted day!
