Another question for the fabulous panel,i am having difficulty deciding on a stroller for my almost 5 1/2 DS{ time of travel}as of now still naps,11 days in WDW.umbrella stroller{comfort?},or medium sized which reclines and storage below, what do you think?

Hi Nichole! I think you've brought up one of the biggest dilemmas parents face in coming to Walt Disney World - strollers! Should you rent one (and not worry about folding or storing it for trams and train rides) or bring your own, and if so, do you go for comfort or size? I've experienced having kids in strollers through 3 sets of babies, so hopefully I can shed some light.

My youngest is 18 months and doesn't want to miss a minute of the excitement, so he fights naps every step of the way. When he finally does fall asleep, it doesn't matter where he is, so reclining isn't an issue for him. If your son is this way too, you probably won't have to worry about a reclining seat.

We actually just switched from a full-sized stroller that came with his infant seat to a lightweight stroller. Slightly bigger than an umbrella stroller, but still very compact and easy to maneuver and carry. It still has a shade and also a small storage basket. We also have little plastic hooks you can find at Babies R Us to attach to the handles and hang bags off of. Just make sure you don't overload them so the stroller tips over when your son hops out! ;)

If you are still looking to purchase a new stroller for the trip, I'd look into one like that. Just try it out in the store to make sure it's easy to open and close, and that your son is comfy in it too (we had to take one back after it just didn't work for us). If you've already bought your stroller and are just deciding which one to take, I'd go with the smaller one. Unless your son really relies on being able to recline to sleep, I think you should be fine without that function.

I hope this helps a bit and that you have a wonderful vacation! Be sure to visit the panel again with any other questions you may have and we'll be happy to help.
