Hi! Got a question about the dolphin encounter and dolphin swim in Costa Maya... my husband, 9 yr old and I would like to do the dolphin swim but my 4 yr old is not old enough. Am I able to accompany him and then swim by myself without paying for both?

    Hi Rebecca!
It is great to hear from you!  The Dolphin Swim in Costa Maya is for ages over eight so you will need to have an alternative plan for your four year old.  This Port Adventure is a short walk from the ship so my advice is to leave your son onboard in the Oceaneer Club/Lab.  While the ship is in port, the club and lab are open so he can stay aboard while you are off enjoying your dolphin experience.  It lasts under two hours so there will be plenty of time to go get him if you want to explore more of Costa Maya with the entire family.
I hope my suggestion helps and you are able to swim with the dolphins on your cruise!  Please let me know if you have any further questions!
