Hi, I have a question about some Deluxe Resorts. I am going to Walt Disney World in October with my son and I was wondering what resort is the better one. These are the 6 I am considering.... Polynesian, Contemporary, Boardwalk, Grand Floridian and AKL.

With a list of prospective resort "homes" like the ones you listed, it's hard to make a bad choice!  Of the six you mention, I've stayed in half of them.  I have, though, visited all of the above either for a meal or just to look around.  You don't mention the age of your son.  If he is eight or younger, I'd recommend a stay at either the Polynesian or the Contemporary for the convenience of the monorail.  Neither is superior to the other (in my opinion) unless you have a preference for theming.  I have stayed at the Contemporary and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the rooms there; they're spacious and modern and particularly gorgeous.  My second choice would be the Animal Kingdom Lodge if you plan to splurge on a savannah view room.  Next choice for me would be the Boardwalk Inn for its plethora of evening entertainment options and proximity to Epcot.  The final choice on my list would be the Grand Floridian.  It may seem strange to be placed as my last choice (considering it's flagship qualities) but our family didn't particularly enjoy our stay at the Grand Floridian.  The monorail access was convenient, but other than that, we found it lackluster compared to some of our previous visits.  Everybody has a different opinion, though, so perhaps ours should be taken with a grain of salt.  Rest assured that whichever you choose, you're sure to enjoy a most magical trip!
