My question of the day! Are small pocket knives, such as a leatherman or swiss army knife allowed?

    Hi there, Margaret!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  Thank you for stopping by with your question about your upcoming Disney Cruise Line vacation.  It will be here before you know it and I am sure you are getting excited for the fun that awaits you aboard the beautiful Disney Dream!

I am so glad you brought this question to us to answer prior to arriving at the port on embarkation day!  Disney Cruise Line prohibits Guests from bringing onboard any sort of knives, and this includes pocket knives of any sort.  If a Guest has a prohibited item with them when they arrive at the port or if it is found in luggage, it will be held for the duration of the trip.  So, go ahead and leave it at home to eliminate any issues at check-in!

You have so much to look forward to onboard and at the ports you will visit during your time at sea.  Hopefully you’ve booked any Port Adventures or onboard activities such as adult-exclusive dining, spa treatments or beverage tastings!  Reservations and excursions can be made online through “My Cruise Activities” and must be done at least three days prior to your sailing.

I wish you a wonderful vacation with many magical memories made!

    Happy Sailing!
