    Davida from CA Asked

Hello! I have a question: 1) Can my dad, who is a retired army veteran, purchase my Disneyland tickets at discount, but not go to the Disneyland park with me?

    Hello Davida!

First I want to thank your father for his service! I hope you are all having a magical week.

To purchase and use the Disneyland Resort Park Tickets for military personnel, your father (or spouse) must present the military ID to purchase the vouchers at the base, then take the voucher to Guest Relations to convert them to valid theme park tickets. Your father does not need go into the parks with you during your visit, but he (or his spouse) must be present when the voucher is converted, which can be any time prior to your arrival. The dates for the U.S. Military Promotional Tickets for 2016 are: January 3 through March 19, and April 2 through December 19.

I hope this helps and please let me know if you need anything else as you plan your magical visit!

    See you real soon!
