    Mario from Mexico Asked

Q1:If I staying at Disney property, can I hit the parks before check-in at the Hotel, so I can enjoy extra magic hours in the morning as well as free parking at the parks? Or should I check in first (after 3 pm)?

Greetings Mario and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

As an international Guest myself traveling from Brazil, I also like to make the most of my time while visiting the Walt Disney World Resort.

You are welcome to enjoy Extra Magic Hours, complimentary standard theme park parking and other benefits available for Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel starting on the same day of check-in!

If you have purchased your tickets as part of a Magic Your Way Vacation Package (hotel and tickets), you need to first check in online or in person at your Disney Resort hotel to activate park admission tickets. To enter the parks you will need a MagicBand, which is a special wristband that holds your theme park admission tickets and is also the key to your room. Since MagicBands are not shipped internationally, before going to the parks you will need to stop by Front Desk at your Disney Resort hotel to pick them up, and this can be done very early in the morning, even before Extra Magic Hours. You may also leave your bags with Bell Services instead of keeping them in the car, and when you return at night ask Cast Members to take your luggage to your room. You should see your room number using the My Disney Experience mobile app around 3:00 p.m. or sometimes even earlier.

Mario, did you know that the Disney Parks Moms Panel is also available in Spanish? Please stop by next time so my fellow Spanish-speaking panelists may assist you in your beautiful language.

    Best magical wishes,
    Thiana
