When purchasing a hotel room/park tickets package, it says you get "base tickets valid for one theme park per day for the number of nights of your stay." Is this the actual number of tickets or number of tickets per person in your party?

    Hello Sara,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I hope I can clarify any confusion on the wording of what is included in the Walt Disney World Resort vacation packages. When you purchase a package for your family, it will include a base ticket (unless upgraded to a park hopper or other options) per day per person for the number of nights you are staying within the resort hotel.

For example, if you are a party of 4 staying for 6 nights, you will receive 4 base tickets (one per person) that each have 6 days at any of the four theme parks. With a "base" ticket, you are only allowed to visit one theme park per day, but it is to your choosing which theme park you decide to go each day. If you add the "park hopper" option, you are allowed to go to multiple parks per day per person with that day's admission. However, if you do not purchase the park hopper option, and you go to two different theme parks in one day, it will use one of the remaining days admission for the 2nd theme park you enter. I hope that makes sense.

Another thing to keep in mind is that all of your park tickets will be linked to a MagicBand. You will not have to juggle numerous cards or paper tickets for every person in your party. Each member of your traveling group will have their own MagicBand. These MagicBands will also serve as your keyless access to your resort room as well as your FastPass+.

I hope that I made some sense out of the terminology. With all the planning options out there, it can often get overwhelming. Please do not hesitate to stop back by with more questions. That is what we are here for.

    Happy Planning,
    ~Allison L
