Hi! I will be purchasing the dining plan. Arriving on a Sunday and checking out on Saturday evening. I'm i able to use leftover credits on Saturday before we check out? Also, how do we find out which restaurants are quick & table?

Hi, Sandra! Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question about the dining plan! How exciting you are planning your vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort! I'm sure you are having a hard time picking what activities you want to do and places you want to eat at, the variety is simply amazing!

Purchasing a dining plan for your vacation will allow you to focus on what you want to eat rather than the prices you will be paying for each meal.

The answer to your question is, a-b-s-o-l-u-t-e-l-y! The pool of entitlements you receive can be used however you please.  If you would like to have three sit-down meals on one given day and zero the next day, that is totally fine. Meal plan credits can be redeemed until midnight of your check out day. So, if you check out at 11:00 am but you still have credits left over, you can use them to eat lunch or dinner, even if have already left your room. Our family usually goes to Disney Springs after check out (Bell Services will store your luggage while you enjoy yourself a little more until it is time for you to depart aboard Disney's Magical Express). Our favorite restaurants are D-Luxe Burger, The Daily Poutine, Earl of Sandwich, the Polite Pig, and Wolfgang Puck® Express at Disney Springs Marketplace!

Figuring out what restaurants offer quick service or table service is easy. Go to the official website and once you hover over the "Things to do" tab at the top, click on Make Reservations under the Dining section. Once there, use the filters provided to do a more specific search. You will be able to see results depending on the location, type of dining experience, cuisine type, price range, guest rating, etc. When the list of results shows, you will see a small description for each restaurant, indicating the price range, location, type of dining experience and whether it is a quick service or table service location. For your convenience, here is a list of quick service locations and table service restaurants

Sandra, I hope this helps. Please come back with more questions as you plan your magical vacation!

    See ya real soon!

Meet the Panelist: Desiree, Peru

Hi! I'm Desiree from Lima, Peru. My family will never ever tire of visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth, even if means traveling almost 3,000 miles to do so! My husband and I love to watch the fireworks with our kids, but the best magic happens when the grandparents come along and we all feel the same age in front of Cinderella Castle! I love giving tips about different types of resorts and traveling with multigenerational groups.
