I am going to be purchasing an Annual Pass for trips in Nov, Jan, and Feb. If I were to purchase the pass now, when does the year take effect for the pass? Would it be valid from purchase date to the same day in 2015?

    Hi Tyler,

Welcome to the Walt Disney World passholder family! It's a wonderful place to be.

The clock on your annual pass won't begin until you use it at a park for the first time. It will expire a year from the date of first use.

If you purchase your pass now, you can link it to your My Disney Experience account and make your FastPass+ selections in advance without worries that you are using up any of your annual pass time. Don't forget, too, that an annual pass makes you eligible for a number of passholder discounts and benefits.

I hope that helps. Please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you. I've been a passholder for more than 15 years. I hope you enjoy your passes as much as my family enjoys ours.
