We will be purchasing airline tickets for our first trip in June 2015 shortly. We have heard that if you arrive after a certain time at the parks that park tickets will only count for half the day and then you can use the rest of it on another day. True?

    Hi Kimberly,

Unfortunately, you can not use a partial theme park admission by entering the park later in the day. If you were to enter the park on your arrival day, even later in the day, it would count as one full day of admission.

If you will be arriving later in the day but don't want to use a theme park admission day, I would suggest checking out the Downtown Disney Area, playing a round of miniature golf, or simply exploring your resort. We love to grab dinner at Earl of Sandwich in Downtown Disney and head back to the resort to watch the nightly "Movies Under the Stars" at the pool. It's a relaxing way to spend our first night of vacation and it ensures we all have the energy to dive head-first into the magic the following morning.

I hope this helps as you plan your vacation, Kimberly. Please let me know if there's anything else I can help you with.

    Have a Disney day,
