We have purchased a vacation package, but will be in the area a day or so prior. Can we pick up and use the park tickets attached to the vacation package a day or two in advance of checking into the resort?

    Hi Curtis,

I imagine that the package that you have purchased is a Magic Your Way Disney package and it includes your resort as well as park tickets during your stay. If the park tickets that you purchased are part of the same package that includes your hotel stay, you will need to wait and pick those up on check-in day. If you have purchased an annual pass or park tickets seperate from your hotel, then you would be able to redeem those upon your arrival to the Orlando area prior to your check in.

Another option that you may want to consider is to purchase a one day ticket to one of Disney World's waterparks, Blizzrd Beach or Typhoon Lagoon, or a pass for Disney Quest. All three of these locations would be a great place to pass that extra day without a park admittance ticket. There are also a number of activities that you can enjoy on Disney's property without going to the parks. There are two miniature golf locations, a number of shops and restaraunts in the Downtown Disney area and the Boardwalk resort has numerous restaraunts, shops and nightclubs.

This is just a small sampling of some of the things you can do before you hit the parks. For additional information on other activites offered at Disney World, visit here. Have a great time!
