    Harry from OH Asked

So I have purchased two day tickets for our daughter and her family to join us at WDW ... however due to a family emergency this trip will be cancelled. Do I need to do anything so that the tickets remain valid for use in the future?

Hey, hey, Harry! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I am so sad to hear that you will need to change you Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Mickey and the gang know things come up and families need to modify their plans. No one should miss out on the fun and fantastical happenings at the place "where dreams come true."

There several different types of tickets and policies associated with tickets. I recommend contacting Guest Relations at (407) 939-1289 or the Existing Tickets Line at (407) 566-4985. Explain your situation and they will find a solution for you. If your tickets have a date of use range then please contact Walt Disney World Resort before the first date in the range. Date-based tickets should be able to be exchanged for date-based tickets of equal or lesser value. More expensive date-based tickets will require payment for the difference. Please do not expect a refund if the new date-based tickets cost less.

Disney Dad Tip: You can still celebrate the pixie dust at home for your daughter and her family. There is nothing like a magical package from Disney Floral & Gifts delivered right to your home.

Harry, I know everything will turn out Happily Ever After.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
