We purchased tickets to Epcot and after reviewing the attractions I think my daughter would enjoy The Animal Kingdom better. Once purchased can you exchange tickets for another park?

    Hi Peter!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel today with this great question. I have three daughters (ages 10, 8 and 5), and they love both Epcot and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. You cannot go wrong with either theme park!

There are currently two types of 1-Day Tickets available for purchase:

    • 1-Day Ticket: Magic Kingdom Park is valid for one admission to Magic Kingdom Park on a date that is valid for the ticket type (Peak, Regular or Value). This ticket is not valid at Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios or Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park.
    • 1-Day Ticket: Epcot or Disney's Hollywood Studios or Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is valid for one admission to any one of these three parks on a date that is valid for the ticket type (Peak, Regular or Value). This ticket is not valid at Magic Kingdom Park.

It sounds like you purchased the 1-Day Ticket that is valid at Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios or Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Therefore, I'm happy to let you know that you can use this ticket at either Epcot or Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park with no problem at all. If you cannot decide between the two, one option is to upgrade your tickets with the Park Hopper Option, which would give you admission to all four theme parks.

I hope this helps with your planning, Peter. For the purpose of this answer, I assumed you had purchased a 1-Day Ticket. If this is incorrect or if you have any additional questions about your upcoming vacation, please stop back again!

    Wishing you many magical memories!
    Erin
