    Gena from FL Asked

We have just purchased Seasonal Passes. Our first trip using the passes will be in November and Resort RSVP have been made. Will our Magic Bands be linked to our passes or will we still need to go to a Theme Park ticket window to redeem our e-Certificate?

    Hello Gena!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! My family also purchases Walt Disney World Annual Passes. We find that they are a good value for us, and they allow us to vacation at Walt Disney World even more frequently. Be sure to visit the Passholder Program site before your upcoming trip to make yourself aware of the discounts and perks that might be available to you during your vacation.

Once you have added your Annual Passes in your My Disney Experience Account, they will be linked with your Magic Bands for your upcoming resort stay. You’ll be able to make your FastPass+ selections 60 days prior to your resort check-in, so you’ll be ready to make the most of your time in the parks. Even though they are linked and you can make your FastPass+ selections, you do still need to stop by a Guest Relations Window outside a theme park or at Downtown Disney to have your Annual Passes activated. Do be sure to bring a Photo ID for each adult, and if you purchased Florida Resident Passes, you’ll need to show valid proof of residency. This process can take a few minutes, so be sure to leave yourself some extra time in your schedule to have this taken care of. Your one year window of valid park admission will not begin until you have activated the Passes at Guest Relations.

Wishing you a year of Passholder magic!

Meet the Panelist: Kate, Indiana

A lifelong Disney fan, joining Disney Vacation Club opened a world of vacation possibilities for our family of six. I’ve traveled with young children and those young at heart, groups both large and small, and during every season of the year. Whether meeting a Disney Princess, training to be a Jedi or dining with Mickey, our family enjoys it all. For this nurse, every day is better with a little dose of Disney! Learn More About Kate
