I purchased room only and Cdn theme park tickets separately for Sept .How do I link the two? Disney saying I must pick up certificate at theme park. How will this affect me trying to make advance dining reservations and fast passes 60 days I before trip?

    Hi Emmanuel,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question!

Several of my friends and family members have been able to take advantage of the Canadian Resident Special Offer for Theme Park Tickets. It really is a great offer, and it’s also a great idea if you can combine them with a “room only” Special Offer too.

Your Canadian Resident Tickets should already be linked to your My Disney Experience account. If that isn’t the case, make sure that you do so as soon as possible. Once that part is done, then you’ll absolutely be able to make your party’s FastPass+ selections up to 60 days before you check in to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel. Please note that you don’t need a Theme Park Ticket to make a Disney dining reservation.

The only catch with these tickets (and the reason why the fine print mentions “activation” or a “certificate”) is because you can’t actually use them unless you pick them up at Guest Relations and show proof of Canadian residence (passport or driver’s license), either at Disney Springs, before you can actually use them to enter a Theme Park. As another note, don’t forget that these specially priced Tickets expire on September 27th, 2019, so please make sure that your vacation dates match up with the Tickets’ terms and conditions.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,
