We have purchased the QS meal plan for our trip to WDW on Wed. We are wondering if our 9 yr old g'daughter is restricted to items on the kids menu. I have seen replies on the Mom's Panel that suggest she can get either kids or adult entrees. Is tha

Hi, David! Wow, your trip is so close, I bet you can already smell the turkey legs! I just looked over the official terms of the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan. It states that if you purchase a dining plan for a child, he/she must select from the children's menu for both table and quick service restaurants in order to use dining credits. If he or she chooses to dine off the adult menu, you would need to pay out of pocket for those meals.

I did speak with a Disney Dining Cast Member this evening and discovered some interesting information for you. Not all Quick Service dining locations have a children's menu, so your young princes and princesses could definitely order from the adult menu in those instances. One of my daughters' favorite places to eat in Magic Kingdom Park, Casey's Corner, does not have a dedicated children's menu. My girls love that they get to have a big chili cheese dog, just like Dad, when we stop there. That meal definitely hits a home run for them!

I hope you have a magical vacation, David! Please stop by again if you have any other last-minute questions for us.
