I purchased a popcorn bucket 2 years ago. Can I use it when I return in August or do I need to purchase a new one?

    Hi Christina,

Thanks for dropping in at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I love that you are thinking about Walt Disney World snacks already, months before your visit.

Like so many things, popcorn just seems better at Disney. The refillable buckets make it easy and economical to be sure you have plenty of salty snacks throughout your visit and in every theme park. Once you purchase the first bucket, refills are inexpensive. (The current refill price is just a couple of dollars, though that is always subject to change).

If you tire of regular popcorn (and really, who does?), try a refill with flavored corn from the stand between The Land Pavilion and Journey Into Imagination with Figment at EPCOT. Or, for a salty and sweet taste, pick up a bucket of maple-flavored popcorn in Canada.

The refill price applies during the length of your stay only, and the standard bucket designs change frequently. For your next visit, you will need to add a new bucket to your collection. I like having a variety as souvenirs and seem to find lots of uses for them when I get home. The special edition buckets, like the holiday Toy Story Alien or the "Steamboat Willie" Minnie Mouse bucket or the Disney Skyliner, also make terrific keepsakes.

Please let us know, Christina, if you think of any other questions, snack-related or otherwise, as you plan your August vacation. We're always here to assist!
