I Have purchased a package for May-June. can i still opt for insurance? If would need cancel could i still do it? And how much money would i receive back? I am hope none of this would have to go into play, but it would be a good thing to know?

    Devin:

Thanks for coming to the Mom's Panel!

Good news! You CAN add the travel insurance to your trip up until the final payment for your trip is due.  Even if you've made your final payment, I would still call before canceling your trip and going through the hassle of re-booking!

If you do feel the need to cancel your trip, you can do so up to 45 days out from your trip without penalty. After that, from 6 to 44 days out, you will have a $100 cancellation fee.  If you cancel 5 days or less in advance of your trip, you'll pay a $200 penalty.

Wishing you a magical vacation--either way you choose!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
