Hi, I purchased one day park tickets for my family and now I would like to upgrade to annual passes for us. Can I do this?

    Hi, Joan!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I’m so glad you stopped by with this question about upgrading your Disneyland Resort theme park tickets. As a longtime Annual Passholder myself, I think it’s a great way to make the most of your visits to the Happiest Place on Earth!

Yes, the amount paid for each one-day ticket can be used as credit toward the purchase of an Annual Passport instead. Simply visit a Disneyland Resort Main Entrance ticket booth in person to pay the difference between the theme park tickets and your desired Annual Passport type. You’ll need to present the valid theme park tickets, photo ID, and proof of eligible residency if you plan to upgrade to a pass for Southern California residents. As soon as you upgrade to an Annual Passport, you’ll be able to take advantage of valuable Passholder benefits available throughout the resort!

More information about ticket upgrade procedures and restrictions can be viewed online, but please write back with more questions if you’d like clarification, Joan. I hope this helps and that you enjoy a year of pixie-dusted vacations with your family!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
