I've purchased the Disney Dining Plan for 3 of us for our upcoming trip. We plan to meet some friends who live in the area for an evening out at Disney Springs. Can we use one of our table-service meals for someone who's not on our original plan?

    Hi there, Jennifer!

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel - I'm happy to help with your question.

I'm happy to hear you've purchased the Disney Dining Plan for your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation. My family really enjoys the dining plan, especially knowing that our meals are taken care of before we arrive. It really takes the guesswork out of budgeting for meals, and saves us from having to reach for our wallets every time we enjoy a dining experience on our vacation.

When you participate in the Disney Dining Plan, you'll be allotted a certain number of Quick Service, Table Service, and Snack entitlements, per person, for each night of your resort stay (depending on which dining plan you choose). You're more than welcome to use those entitlements at your discretion - including purchasing meals for those not in your party. You'll need to make sure to include those Guests when making your dining reservation, and then let the server know that you want to use your entitlements to purchase their meal.

I hope this helps with your planning, and that you and your friends enjoy yourselves at Disney Springs.  There are so many great restaurants to choose from!

    Have a magical day! - Diane W.
