We purchased a Disney Dining Plan. Looking for clarity as to when we can use these meals. We leave on our flight early hours on our last day. Are we still entitled to meals that last day and can we use them on the first day we arrive?

    Hi Wanda,

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.  The Disney Dining Plan is a fantastic way to enjoy some of the fantastic dining options available at Walt Disney World Resort.

At first, the Disney Dining Plan may seem confusing, however once you use it, it will become second nature.  Essentially, the Disney Dining Plan gives guests credits for redemption throughout the length of their visit.  The Plan is calculated based on nights of stay, so if you are booked for 5 nights, you will have 5 Table-Service, 5 Quick Service and 10 Snack credits per person.  The credits will become active upon check-in and expire at midnight on the night of your checkout, meaning you will have credits available from the moment you arrive until your departure on Disney's Magical Express. Once you check-in the credits are for you to use as you see fit, whenever you need.  Every time you use a dining credit, your total remaining credits will be listed on your receipt, making it easy to keep track of your credits.

If you are planning on dining at many of the Table-Service Dining locations, I would strongly recommend making Advanced Dining Reservations prior to your arrival.  Advanced Dining Reservations can be made online or by calling (407) 939-1947 up to 180 days in advance.

I hope you have a magical time at Walt Disney World Resort, Wanda.  Please let us know if you have any other questions, we are always happy to help.
