We purchased the dining plan with our upcoming trip in April 2014. I am afraid that my DH and DD will not have enough to eat as they both are big eaters . Is there an option to purchase additional meals to add you the meal plan? Any suggestions.

    Hi Danielle,

I am glad to hear you will be using the Disney Dining Plan, it is a great way to enjoy some of the fabulous dining locations around Walt Disney World Resort!  We purchase a Dining Plan every time my family visits Walt Disney World Resort, and I have never had a problem with anyone not having enough to eat.  If you are truly worried, I have a few suggestions.  Your first option would be to upgrade to the Deluxe Dining Plan.  This plan offers 3 meals per night as well as two snacks.  My family prefers the Deluxe Dining Plan because we love the Signature Dining options at Walt Disney World and with the Deluxe Dining Plan we are able to use some of our entitlements to splurge on these dining locations.

My next tip would be to take advantage of as many of the buffet and family style dining locations as possible.  These types of dining locations are offered all over Walt Disney World Resort and have a great deal of variety.  Best of all, your family members with larger appetites should be able to satisfy their hunger.

My last suggestion would be to tuck some money away on a Disney Gift Card specifically for additional meals while at Walt Disney World.  When you need to purchase another meal or snack, it will feel like it is taken care of.  Best of all, if you have any money left over on your gift card at the end of your vacation, it means more shopping for you!

I hope my suggestions help Danielle.  Please let me know if you need any other suggestions as your Walt Disney World Resort Vacation approaches.  I would be happy to help.
