I purchased the Deluxe Dining Plan for my husband and myself. My question is my son (2.5 years old) is under the age requirement to be on the plan does that mean I have to pay full price for his meals? Can I just use 1 of my allotted meals for him instead?

    Hi Patricia,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  We're so glad you stopped by with your question today.

The Disney Dining Plan is one of the things on my personal "must do" list for every Walt Disney World vacation I take.  I appreciate the value and the convenience...but most of all, I love the food!  Steak and sushi and Dole Whips, oh my!

Even though the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan isn't available your little guy, you still have some great options at meal time for him.  If you're dining at a Table-Service restaurant that is a buffet or served family-style, he can have his own plate at no additional charge.  At other Table-Service restaurants where you order off a menu, he can share from your plate, again at no charge.  You'll also have the option at those locations of ordering a meal off the menu for him and having the price added to your bill.  The kids' meals are great, both in terms of kid-friendly food choices and cost, and would be a much better value than trying to use one of your adult Table-Service credits for him.

I hope that helps with your planning, Patricia, but please visit us again any time if you have other questions.

Wishing you a magical vacation and delicious dining!
