We purchased the deluxe dining plan for our Feb trip. Our son is currently 9 so was classified as a child when we paid for the dining plan but he turns 10 while we are on our trip. Will we have to pay more for his meals the day he actually turns 10? Thanks

    Hi Wendy,

Hakuna Matata, no worries! You will not have to pay more for your child's meals when he turns 10 on your trip! Disney Dining Plans are based on your child's age at the time of arrival, so you are all set. Be sure to pick up a complimentary birthday button for him at Guest Services when you arrive. You can also note that you are celebrating your child's birthday on any Advance Dining Reservations you have made. He may be treated to a special birthday cupcake!

I can think of no better place to celebrate your son's 10th birthday than at Walt Disney World Resort. In fact, we're celebrating my daughter's 10th birthday there in two weeks! I hope you have a wonderful celebration at Walt Disney World Resort.

Please stop back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you think of any other questions while you plan your magical vacation!

    Wishing you magical memories!
