We purchased the basic meal plan for 01/2011 visit. When making res. the charts showed that they used 1 deluxe instead of one basic TS unit. What does this mean? Also, what is the most reliable source for rest .included in dmp (brochure or res. site)?

    Bridget,

The best information can be found on the Where to Eat site at Disney.com.  Click on the restaurant you are interested in going to and then select "view dining plan information".  It will show you a chart indicating how many dining credits you will use eating there.  If the restaurant is listed as signature dining many times you will need to use two table service dining credits.

The difference between the deluxe dining plan and the basic dining plan is the amount of table service credits you receive per day.  You can read about the difference at the Disney Dining Plan site.

Hope that helps.  Have a magical vacation!!
