Can I purchase two Florida resident annual passes on payment plan for my daughter and friend(who live in Florida)? I do not. Or, I have purchased regular 5 day passes for them can I exchange these in DW towards a Florida resident annual pass.

    Hi Jacalyn,

What a nice gift! My family and I love being Florida resident passholders, and we take advantage of the monthly payment plan for our annual pass renewal to spread the cost over the year.

When you sign up for the monthly payment plan, you must make a deposit and provide a credit card that will be charged each month. Then you will receive a voucher that must be exchanged in person at a Guest Relations location or theme park ticket window. The passes become active on the day you exchange the voucher.

Each adult must be present and show proof of Florida residency to get the official tickets.

I don't see anything on the website that says the person paying for the tickets must be a Florida resident. In fact, it says annual passes can be given as gifts. However, before you make your purchase, I suggest you call the passholder line, 407-560-PASS (7277), to verify that you can use an out-of-state credit card for the monthly payments.

Sorry that I don't have a definitive answer. There are many ticket options at the Walt Disney World resort and many nuances, so I'd rather steer you toward the official source, just to be safe.

I can say definitively that an annual or seasonal Florida resident pass is a great gift and one I'm sure your daughter and her friend will get much enjoyment from.

    Good luck!
