I want to purchase my tickets on-line. My daughter is presently 9 turning 10 on March 7 (the day we were planning to go to Magic Kingdom with hopper pass so she can wear the birthday pin). Can I use the age 9 rate since I am purchasing them now?

    Hi Johanna!

Happy birthday to your princess!  What a wonderful way to celebrate turning the BIG 1-0!!!!  The rule of thumb is that you base the age of your child on the date that you check into your Disney resort.  So, if your daughter is 9 when you are checking in, then she will be just fine with that child's ticket throughout her entire stay.  However, if she is already 10 when you check in, she will need an adult's ticket.

If I understand your situation correctly, she will be just fine with a child's ticket.  Be sure to tell her that I wish her a fabulous, magical birthday!!!!
