Hi, if I purchase our tickets online for admission into the Disneyland parks how do we obtain our Fastpasses if we don't have a paper ticket? Is there an option to scan the bar code or do you suggest printing off a paper copy? Thanks!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Larissa! I love helping Guests plan worry-free vacations to the Disneyland Resort, so I am more than happy to give you the run down on tickets and FASTPASSES.

When you purchase your tickets online and select the eTicket option, you will receive vouchers by email within 24 hours. You will then bring the vouchers, either printed or on your mobile device, directly to the gates at Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park. There, your vouchers will be exchanged for standard paper theme park tickets that you will use for the duration of your trip. Your will need your theme park tickets to obtain FASTPASSES throughout the parks.

The process for obtaining and redeeming FASTPASSES has changed recently as the parks prepare for the introduction of Disney MaxPass. As it stands today, you will still use your theme park ticket to obtain a FASTPASS at a distribution kiosk. A FASTPASS reminder ticket will be distributed to help you remember your return time. When you arrive at the attraction to redeem your FASTPASS, you will now scan your theme park ticket to enter the queue. You might want store your theme park tickets in a convenient location like a lanyard to help facilitate the new FASTPASS process. The official launch date of Disney MaxPass hasn't been released yet, but if you happen to visit when MaxPass is in place, you will be able to obtain and redeem FASTPASSES using the Disneyland app for an additional fee.

I hope this clarifies things a bit for you. Please stop by again if you have any additional questions!
