If I purchase tickets + memory maker in August 2016 with the 'Will Call' option and if I pick up my tickets and memory maker cards on the 1st October 2016, will my memory maker work on that same day or would I still have to wait 3 days later?

Hi, Fiona! Thanks for bringing your question to us. I am a huge fan of Memory Maker and always make it a part of our Walt Disney World Resort vacation. I am so glad to see that you are thinking ahead and taking advantage of the Memory Maker advance purchase price for your upcoming vacation. You will be amazed at how many locations you will find Disney PhotoPass photographers, just waiting to take a shot of your unforgettable Disney memories in action.

The three-day waiting period involved with the advance purchase price only applies to the three days after you initially purchase Memory Maker. In those three days, any pictures taken during that time period will not be included in your Memory Maker. However, since you are planning to purchase Memory Maker in August and use it in October, you should be fine.

Fiona, a little tip I would like to mention to you is that even though you are picking up your park tickets at Will Call when you arrive in October, you are able to link your ticket purchase to your My Disney Experience account as soon as you purchase them. This will allow you to make FastPass+ selections as soon as your FastPass+ window opens. If you are staying at one of the Walt Disney World Resort hotels, you can begin making your selections 60 days in advance of your date of check in, or 30 days in advance if you are staying off-property. There is limited availability of each FastPass+ choice, so you will definitely want to link your tickets and take advantage of this early selection ability!

Please stop by and see us again if you have any further questions as you continue to plan you trip!
