How do I purchase tickets for Animal and Majic Kingdom for kids who are 10 and under?

Hi, Brigit! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for stopping by with your ticketing question. Walt Disney World Resort recently changed up not only the types of tickets guests can buy, but also the website where tickets are purchased. As soon as I saw the new website was up, I sat around and played with it to see how different types of purchases worked. I have a few tips that will help you find exactly what you need.

First, you will want to head to the main ticketing page. While you will notice that prices are listed as "Ages 10+ from:" and a quoted amount, these are only examples. If you click on the type of ticket you need, you will find tickets on the following page for children under age 10. So, if you would like to visit Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park and Magic Kingdom Park on separate days, you will want the 1 Park Per Day Ticket. Click it and then select the number 2 to indicate that you would like tickets to cover two days. You will then go through the calendar and find the first day you plan to use the tickets. Keep in mind that Two-Day tickets are valid for four days, beginning with the start date. When you click the start date, you will then be able to indicate how many tickets for ages 3-9 and ages 10+ you will need. The price for each age group and a total will be provided.

If you intend to get a One-Day Park Hopper ticket, which will allow you to go to both of the parks on just one day, then the Ticket with Park Hopper Option is found just below that 1 Park Per Day Ticket. You will follow the same directions to get to the children's ticket. I hope this information helps you begin planning for your pixie-dusted adventures! Please let us know if you have any other questions!
