If you purchase something in the parks or dtd and get it delivered to the hotel, how long does it take?

    Hi Richyl.

Resort Hotel Delivery is one of the many fantastic advantages of staying on site at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel.

The amount of time delivery takes, somewhat depends on the time of day that your purchase is made. If your purchase is made early in the day, the package can often be at your resort as soon as that evening. Purchases and delivery arrangements made later in the day, usually arrive at your resort hotel the following day. You'll receive a message on your in-room resort phone advising you when the Front Desk or Resort Merchandise Location is in receipt of your package. If you haven't received a message and are expecting a package, call the Front Desk to inquire.

When arranging your Resort Delivery with a Cast Member at a retail location, information regarding your resort and check-out dates will be collected. If you're getting too close to check-out date, the Cast Member will advise against shipping to your resort. As long as your check-out is more than 48 hours away, you're safe. If you're within the 48 hour window of checking out, consider instead having the package delivered to the theme park's exit. That way, you won't need to tote it around with you all day long and instead can pick it up just in time to take it back to your resort via Disney transportation. *If exiting Epcot park, be sure to specify whether you'd prefer pick up at the Main Gate or at the International Gateway which exits into the BoardWalk Resorts area.

I hope this information is helpful to you Richyl.
