If I purchase a FL Resident 3-day,& ship the tickets, will I get the actual ticket? Do I need to wait in line to verify Florida residency when I get there? I don't have a valid ID, but I do have another form of proof.

Hi Andrea, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I always love to chat with another Floridian!

When you purchase any Walt Disney World passes or tickets through the Florida Resident Discount program, you'll need to show proof of Florida residency before you can actually use the ticket. You can find acceptable forms of validation of Florida residency on the Disney website, and then just go to the Guest Relations window before you enter the Theme Park the first time you use them.

If you have your tickets mailed to you, you'll receive admission cards that look a bit like a credit card. Once you've verified your Florida residency, you'll just touch your cards to the touchpoints at the front of the Theme Park. You can also use them for entry to any FastPass+ experiences you've selected. And keep in mind, you can make FastPass+ selections after you've purchased your tickets, up to 30 days in advance if you don't have a Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation. So go ahead and choose your "must-do's" as soon as you can!

I hope this helps you make the most of your Disney days, Andrea. Please come see us again if you have any more questions.

    Have a magical day!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
