Hi! If I purchase a 3 night package (tickets/hotel/dining) for Dec. 29-Jan 1, can I choose 7 day park hopper tickets on the same package and begin using the park tickets before Dec 29? We're staying off property Dec 26-28. Thanks! Kelli

    Hi Kelli,

How exciting that you will be ready celebrating the New Year at Walt Disney World Resort. There are many New Year's Eve happenings you don't want to miss.

When you book a Magic Your Way Vacation Package, you can choose the number of days you like for Theme Park Tickets, from two to ten. We usually like to have a Resort Hotel day to recharge so we usually pick less number of Ticket days than hotel nights.

Theme Park Tickets and Dining Plans, become active once you Check-In to your Resort Hotel. Tickets are then valid for fourteen days after first use, so this is no problem if you stay off property after your Resort stay. That said, you can actually pick up your Theme Park Tickets up to three days before your Check-In, but this must be done in person at Guest Relations at the entrance of any of the Theme Parks or Disney Springs.

One last tip: be sure to download the My Disney Experience mobile app, which will let you make FastPass+ selections for those early days, the moment your pick up your Tickets. Happy planning!
