If I purchase memory maker at guest services will photos be linked to MDE right away or is there a time delay ?

Hello Amy, and thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a great question.

Did you know that there are more photos taken at the Walt Disney World Resort than any other location on the planet? There are more photos taken by Disney’s PhotoPass Photographers and guests in front of all of the iconic landmarks at Disney Theme Parks than any other scenic or tourist attraction in the world! When you purchase Memory Maker in advance of your trip, at least 3 days, you will save $30 off the purchase price. It will be activated when you upload your first PhotoPass Photo to your account. I typically purchase Memory Maker 2-4  weeks in advance of my trip so I do not have to worry about the 3 day waiting period.

However, if you choose to purchase your Memory Maker when you arrive, it will be active immediately since you are paying the full price. Keep in mind that pricing is subject to change. You will love being able to crop, edit, and add cool borders and stickers to all of your photos. My favorite thing about Memory Maker is having the ability to download and share my photos with friends and family. When you purchase Memory Maker you can also order a number of products featuring your favorite photos in calendars, mugs, mouse pads and other products. Don’t forget to order an archive DVD of all your photo memories. This DVD will contain all the photos and videos on your account at the time you place your order. I love having the DVD as a backup for all my photos just in case something were to happen to my computer. If you have any more questions before you arrive, please come back and visit us again.

    Say cheese,
    Andrea
