    William from AR Asked

If you purchase the max pass and walk in the gate at rope drop, can you immediately secure your first fp on your cell and then proceed to your first ride of the day. Can you also secure World of Color fp at he same time?

Hi there, William! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

You can absolutely start to use Disney MaxPass as soon as you enter either Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. Once your ticket is scanned, look immediately on the Disneyland app to see what FASTPASS return times are available and make a selection right away. FASTPASS return times generally don't begin until 15-30 minutes after park opening, so you will most likely select a FASTPASS for an attraction, then go ride a different attraction first while you wait for your return time window to open up. Also, pay close attention to the time when you can pull your next FASTPASS. You can often select another FASTPASS before you have used your first FASTPASS. And you can continue this process all day long. Plus, if you have a Park Hopper ticket, you can make selections for either park regardless of what park you are currently enjoying.

Digital FASTPASSES for World of Color and Fantasmic! are not currently available. So you will still visit a distribution kiosk and receive a paper FASTPASS for those shows. However, those FASTPASSES remain "disconnected," meaning that you can still select FASTPASSES using MaxPass while you hold a FASTPASS for World of Color or Fantasmic!

I hope you have a fabulous time touring the parks with Disney MaxPass! See ya real soon!
