We are going to purchase a disney world vacation package including hotel, tickets with parkhopper and water park access for 6 days, can we use some of our tickets before we check in since we are staying elsewhere for a small portion of our trip?

    Hi Sabrina,

What a great question and the answer depends on how you purchase your tickets.

If you are buying a package through Disney with tickets, your tickets are generally valid during the length of your stay. This means they start the day you check-in and end the day you check out. If you are thinking of adding the Dsiney Dining Plan, this is the type of ticket you would need. If this is the case, you would not be able to use your tickets prior to checking in.

If you purchase your tickets separately, you would be able to use them prior to checking into your resort. You can still link your tickets in My Disney Experience to make your FastPass+ reservations starting at the 60 day mark for your days at a Walt Disney World Resort. The days you are not staying on property, you can make those reservations at 30 days. In addition, your tickets must be used within 14 days after you first activate your ticket.

    Wising you a magical vacation!
